Time is the one thing you can’t get any more of. If you are looking to maximize the enjoyment of your time fly fishing in the Maine woods, consider our guided fly fishing trips.

Maine Fly Fishing Trips: Master Maine Guide Paul Sveum has been fly fishing all over the US and knows what it takes to have a great out on the water. We now offer float and wade trips on some of Maine’s most productive and beautiful water, from remote small headwater streams in the Aroostook watershed to the West Branch of the Penobscot tail water fisheries below Ripongenus Dam.

We pride ourselves in not only being able to offer float and wade trips, but by providing guides with a comprehensive knowledge of the outdoor world. We believe that being a guide is more than just tying knots and netting fish. Instead a good guide should be able to provide a holistic picture of the experience, identifying birds, wild edible plants, rock solid camping and backcountry skills on top of a mastery in all forms of aquatic life, fly fishing gear and technique. At Jack Mountain, all of that is just another day in the woods for our guides!

Once you book a fishing trip with us, we think you’ll understand why we pride ourselves on having the best guide staff in Maine. Guide trips include all flies, use of rod/reel combo, lunch. Limited transportation available upon request. Maine fishing licenses and guide gratuity is not included.
